Introducing Platinum Tier Schools

Our school tier system has had a shiny new update, including a new addition: Platinum Tier!

Platinum Tier vacancies are suitable for school leadership candidates, who possess qualifications such as a :

Bachelor’s Degree plus PGCE, preferably a teaching licence (QTS, SACE, state teaching licence) and/or Master’s of Education 

PLUS 

Relevant school leadership experience, and further/studying qualifications such as

NPQH, LYIS-Q, Educational Doctorate/PhD.Education (for deputy/principal roles)

Please note that although senior school leadership roles require relevant levels of experience and qualifications, requirements can vary greatly based on the school and role.

In short, there’s no set rules in what it takes to be a school leader, so please consider our Platinum tier as a guideline.

Overview:

This role encompasses both teaching and administrative responsibilities, requiring exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills. The Head of Primary supports the effective daily management of the Primary School (K–G5), fosters a positive learning environment, and ensures alignment with the school’s philosophy, objectives, and global education model.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or above in Education or a related field, PLUS a valid teaching qualification or certification.

• Proven leadership experience in a primary or international school setting.

• Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a similar

leadership role.

• Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IB PYP, British, or American).

• Experience in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and team management.

Additional Requirements:

• Technologically savvy with experience using educational platforms and tools.

• Passion for global education and the school’s mission and values
