Rowena, CEO of Totally Teach and Winner of The Innovation in Education Award

We are so proud to announce that Rowena, CEO of Totally Teach, was OFFICIALLY announced as the WINNER of the Innovation in Education Award at the 35th elets World Education Summit Dubai 2026!

The conference brought together an impressive and diverse group of educators and leaders, including Principals, education groups, and policymakers from across the globe. Participants travelled from Africa, India, Italy, and China, creating a truly international space for collaboration and exchange.

Discussions focused on what the future of education may hold, with particular attention given to the growing role of AI, how schools can better support parents and students, and the responsibility educators have to adapt thoughtfully to change. Speakers and attendees alike explored how innovation can be used to enhance learning and wellbeing, while also acknowledging the very real challenges that come alongside rapid technological and societal shifts.

What stood out most was the shared commitment to moving forward in a balanced and student-centred way, by embracing new opportunities while remaining honest about the complexities of the future and support systems needed to navigate it successfully.

It’s truly an honour and a privilege to receive this recognition from such a prestigious organisation.

Not only that, but we are also excited to announce that a very innovative project, worthy of such an award, is currently in the works and COMING SOON!

Stay tuned for further updates!

the chance to accept this award was also the perfect opportunity to make a very special announcement about a very exciting project that’s been in the works.

Over the past few months, Rowena has been heading up and developing an innovative AI powered platform that will take Totally Teach’s services to the next level.

Endorsed and informed by school Principals, HR experts and 8 years of Totally Teach experience, the software strives to create even better matches between schools and teachers, by analysing and taking into account the factors that can’t always be picked up from a quick scan of a CV.

The project is still in early stages, and we want to get it just right before its official launch. We’re so excited to officially announce what’s been in the works, and can’t wait to see how it will innovate the International Education recruitment market further!
